As some may know, our family has taken yet another trip to Texas. I found a computer here in San Antonio so I'm going to finish up this post so that I don't leave y'all hanging! :) This part is finishing up the wonderful time I had in TX. with my dear friends, the Martinez family. I'm not going to be able to write a whole lot here but you will get more from the captions. Take time to enjoy! :)

After shopping us girls decided to stop by the ocean bay and take a few shots. This one was one of the only self-shots that turned out good. :)

Palm Trees are always one of my favorite things to see when I go down South. An inside joke is running through my mind at the moment... :)

Hmm, what to buy?

Me with my treasures. I really should start cutting back... ;)

Best brand names...ever!

All smiles. :)

Out of all the pictures I got *inside* the boat, I hardly got any of the actual ship. Even though this one was taken from a bridge, I think you get the general idea. :)

Mirrors...I know. :)

Allot of the models they had of the air craft reminded me of the museum we went to in Chicago. They had en entire room with models like these, pretty cool huh?

How would you like to sleep in one of these? Comfortable, I think not.

These guys were prepared for the worst-they had everything!

So for me this picture made me shudder. I was in pain after the oral surgeons took out my teeth when I was asleep-how in the world did these guys get along?!

The landing deck was my favorite part of the ship-even though it was a little chilly, the sights were definitely worth it!

This thing was gigantic! I had to step waayy back for me to get the whole thing. I'm still awaiting the day when I'll be able to ride in a helicopter... Although this is coming from the girl who still has not flown in an airplane. :)

The ocean was gorgeous! With a little bit of editing, I think it turned out well. :)

Yay for the timer setting on cameras! Us three girls on the landing deck, yes, in coats and sweaters. :)

Now are we really going to trust these ladies as captains??

Well definitely not this one.... O:-)

The girls again, last picture on the Lexington with the Lexington Bell. It was a tradition for them, so I guess it now is for me. :)

My trip ended quickly, and each day was filled with fun and lots of memories. We were never able to make a special visit to the beach, but after the Lexington I was able to get a quick shot by the ocean. :)

LOVE your treasures... you have great taste. lol! ;) that definitely has to be the best brand name.

I've got a thing for the armed services and everything that has to do with any aspect of it since I had the opportunity to talk with my great grandpa about his service and I am so jealous you got to visit that ship! ;) lucky girl

I am very impressed that you did not leave Family Thrift empty handed! I love that place and always spend at least $20 every time I go, lol! Glad you were able to be here so long!!
