Yes, I may not be home yet, but I've decided to already start my posting of the trip instead of putting it off 'till I get home. Here in Texas is gorgeous, I couldn't have asked for better weather! Last night there was a cold front that came in and it got a bit chilly, but I would rather have this then all the snow back home. My trip down was safe, a bit lonely for me, but safe. Your prayers definitely helped! :)
So I arrived at the Martinez residence early Friday afternoon-and since than, I've been having a blast! Every year when our family comes down, its our tradition to play lots and lots of Texas Tornado, and play 'till about 1:30 to 2:00 in the morning. We've successfully played lots, but we usually stop around 10:30-11:00...don't wanna get *too* dizzy. :) Besides playing that, we've been able to do all sorts of games, shop, enjoy delicious Texas meals, go to aquariums and *much* more.
Since I'm still visiting this amazing state, I won't say how many total parts I'll do. But there will be a 2nd one! So check back soon! and as always-enjoy!
My favorite site to see...Sunshine.
Robert introduced us girls to this game-its quite fun! You draw a mutual friends name out of a bowl and without looking stick it to your head, then ask "Yes" or "No" questions to find out who you have. Here we have me as Jay East, Robert as Savannah East, Johanna as my dad, and Rebecca as...Brad Pitt. :)
Saturday morning, we woke up early to play some Ultimate Frisbee. Before we left we decided to take a group picture in front of our "traditional" tree. Makes me think of some kind of band...
Mirrors-gotta love 'em! :)
Just after the camera went "snap" a lady saw us and boy, you should have seen her eyes! Quite a funny site... :)
Meredith had us girls over for a party celebrating her 16th birthday. :)
Becca doing her nails-and having a fabulous time doing it!
Sweetie looking just a little....scared.
Everything's ready for the "foot soak"! By the way, it felt wonderful! :)
Mmmm, can't go to a party without some delicious goodies!
Group shot of the girls! :)
Guess.
This has gotta be my favorite entrance way of all time-maybe cause I have this thing for water?
One of my favorite shots of the day. Go turtles!! No-not the Ninjas. ;)
This little guy was being such a stinker! I was waiting for about 10 minutes for it to go down the little slide but it never did! Here he looks like he's about to, but then he goes across and down the edge. Ah well...
-Looks dangerous.-
But Becca decides to be adventurous and touch one anyways. :)
We even got to touch this little guy-Cute?
No, don't worry-we didn't touch Smiley. And no joke, that's his name.
Three girls not wanting to get any closer to the creatures behind them.
Even sting rays get bottle fed!

Sounds like you're enjoying your trip! Thanks for posting all these pictures! :-)
I've heard of that game before, but haven't tried it yet... Sometime if we get together we should try it!
The aquarium looks really neat! So fun!
Lookin' forward to part 2!!
I'm not sure which is weirder.....the fact that Robert has my name stuck to his head(I was never to fond of that game) or that Becca is painting her fingernails......you should have seen the time I tried to get her to do that:P........
Josiah, I don't think they had him...Yeah, Smiley was scary.
Jonathan, Thanks so much!
Amanda, I think this is one of the longest comments you've ever written me. :) Yes, marine life is absolutely amazing. Well thank you! Its kinda annoying being the one who takes pictures, cause your hardly in them yourself! Yay for the timer setting. :)

Tara, Thanks, glad you've been enjoying them! I actually had never heard of it, so I really enjoyed it. Hey maybe at Liberty Day we could get a game going. :) <3
