After months of preparation, our Reformation Day Faire finally came! It seems like just yesterday we were hurrying about doing last minute preparations. This year's faire was a total success, over 400 people came! Especially after such a gloomy week, it was so good to see the Sun shining through the weekend. I was blessed to make new friends, and visit with old ones. It was an absolute wonderful time, and if you didn't come this year, make sure you come next year!! Registration is free, so room runs out fast!

This post will be of Friday, and I'm probably going to break it all up into parts. Not positively sure how many though, but there will be one after this. :)

The castle wall finally done! Isn't that impressive?

Meli, Marie Michelle, and Melissa getting their dress rehearsal in before their performance!

Last minute preparations!

Some of the many people who attended Reformation Day...

Dr. LaMay giving an introduction on John Calvin, and the Reformation.

Three friends, all smiles.

Doug Bong sharing his input on the importance of music.

Nice shot taken from the balcony.

The string quartet looking quite focused as they play
their instruments.

Four friends singing beautifully.

We were blessed to have the Serven family join us for Ref. Day.
They and a few friends led the people in harmony of the Psalms.

Mrs. Riggenbach and Mrs. Price doing a fantastic job at the Registration Table.
Aren't they cute? :)

Meli and Natalie became close friends by the time Ref. Day was over.

Conversing.

Enjoying Music, from who?

No, not little Geneva, but she looks like she's enjoying it too.

Yep, Charlie Zahm! After a stressful day of flight plans being delayed, he came
and blessed many people with a 2 hour concert. You should have seen and
heard the smiles and applause as he walked through those doors!

Hi Sierra,

It was so neat being able to meet you and your family at the Faire! We had a great time there! I especially liked when you, your brother, and Jessica were singing! Can you tell me what that song is called that goes something like "he/she once was a true love of mine"?

I've been looking on your blog and have really enjoyed it!

~Janai

ps- Are you guys going to Liberty Day?

Janai, Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! It was great to meet y'all too, though I wish we could have talked more! Thank you, I enjoyed that part too...even though I was quite nervous. That song is called "Scarborough Fair", beautiful isn't it?

Lord-willing, yes, I think we're planning on being there! :)
