Well, I'm back!! Thank you so much for your prayers, Dad and I made it to Kentucky and after the weekend, we made it back safely. With all the Christmas decorating and planning, its been hard for me find time to sit down, and get it done! But now, here I am. :)

Last Wednesday, Dad and I headed out to the Northern Convention Center in Covington, Kentucky to a conference about the "Sufficiency of Scripture." There were many amazing speakers, teaching Christ solid lectures. Lots of people asked which was my over all favorite speaker, but I honestly can't pick just one. Paul Washer was definitely one of my favorites, the sermon that I enjoyed the most was "The sufficiency of Scripture and the Gospel". He speaks like Jeremiah in the Bible, because he cannot hold it in. For those of you who experienced the day with Pastor Henderson, it was like that. Total quietness, tears of forgiveness, and feeling the presence of God around you. Sometimes you need speakers like these to ignite your passion for Christ, I know I did. Over all, the 3 days were fantastic! I had a wonderful time meeting up with old friends, and getting to know new ones as well. I also had a blast with Dad. We didn't get to do too much, but being together and talking, for me...it was enough.

I'll be doing 2 parts about the conference, so I hope you enjoy what I have to say, and of course the pictures. And I hope y'all have a wonderful Christmas season!! :)

Starting out with a shot of the stage before the people come crowding in.

An art-sy shot of the camera...

The place was set up for 200 + people, so there were lots and lots of chairs I wonder how long it took for them to put 'em all up!

Dad and WWII Fighter Pilot Bill Brown...If you ever get the chance, make sure you talk to him about his adventures on Iwo Jima...

This little guy did, and by the look on his face, I'd say he's enjoying it. :)

At Mr. Brown's booth was a bowl filled with black sands from the Iwo Jima beaches, lots of children and adults enjoyed feeling it.

Ok, so your probably thinking, "Wow, an escalator?". But this isn't your typical escalator, this one takes 22 seconds to get up. And yes, I counted in Mississippi's. ;)

The SOS men's chorale practicing before their performance. And for the record, these guys sounded awesome!

Practice makes perfect!

Whoa, this room got filled quickly!

Peter Bradrick welcoming everyone and introducing the first speaker...

Scott Brown! Teaching the families gathered of a Biblical analysis of youth ministry.

This guy blew me away! Every single speaker who taught, he was there interpreting every word. Pretty impressive, huh?

Lots of people crowded to the booths to buy great books, DVD's, and other resourceful things for the family.

Of course while the parents were wrapped up in the great booths, the kids were more occupied with the balloon boy. He was pretty good!

A cute little guy I saw while entering the auditorium, he looks a little shy of the camera though.

Matt and his friend filming for the big screen in front and for a project their hoping to get finished next year sometime. Roll on!

Voddie Baucham opening with a message of Biblical Manhood, and how leadership can affect the family in many wonderful ways.

Joe Morecraft applied the sufficient Scriptures to church discipline.

I had a good laugh when I looked out the window and found that almost every vehicle in this parking lot was a 15 passenger van. :)

Me and Darby hanging out at her dad's booth. Good times... :)

Isn't this one of the coolest buildings you've seen?

Art-sy sun shot. <3>

Ha ha... yeah, if we are unsure about the location of a conference like this, we just look around till we find a bunch of "big white vans" and it's sure to be the right place! LOL!

I like the lighting in your pictures! I simply detest flash so I love when pictures look "natural." :-) Sounds like it was a great conference!!
