Thanksgiving night, our cousin, Carah, was able to spend the night at our house so that we could get up early and brave the lines Friday morning. Since we stayed up a little later than usual, we woke up a little later than we had hoped. But thankfully we were all able to get in truck and head into Peoria on time. Dad was originally going to escort us, but he decided not to because he didn't want to see the bill at the end of the day. ;) Mom went instead. We spent the most time, (and money), at Kohl's where we got some clothes, Down comforters, shoes, and other little random things. At the end of the day I looked at my receipt and found out I saved $68! I was happy. :)

Friday morning was especially sunny and this flower looked gorgeous so I decided to take a quick shot.

Kohl's-The first place we stopped. The lines were incredibly long, they went around the whole store!! We had to have one person get in line as soon as we got there, then just kept switching till everyone was done.

This ones fuzzy, but you can get a glance of how the lines were like.

A happy group, cause they know how much they saved.

Shop 'til you drop!!

Yeah. The parking lot was quite full...

This one was taken while I was going down the escalator, the people below me were like, "What's that clicking noise?!". :)

What store do you want to go to? Grand Praire Mall has it all!

Even a giant rocking horse!! Little kids love this ride.

But the big kids prefer the big lion. This is probably my favorite shot of the day, their expressions are classic.

*COUSINS*

The best coffee at Grand Praire! This stuff is what kept us all moving. :)

Elita and I waiting for Josiah to get done looking at shoes. Yes, this is another mirror picture. :)

Aww, Carah and Elita.

Eating while texting?! Go Lenna!

Looks like someone is enjoying the pizza!

Elita, our little trooper. She was glad we finally could sit and get some food!

Family. Friends. <3>

Personally, I prefer sleep rather than shopping! :-) And I really don't like standing in long lines (maybe I should go on a Black Friday shopping trip to teach me patience!) so needless to say, I didn't go shopping at all. My cousins did and they crashed the whole afternoon! They were shopping at 4:00a.m. What time did ya'll go?

Josiah, Thanks! Yeah, it was quite tiring. But hey, the sales were totally worth it!

Amanda, Ah so you like to shop?! I love shopping. Especially on Black Friday! Thank you!

Tara, Oh my! No, we would never wake up that early to shop. I too like my sleep wwaayy better. We left the house around 8:30 or so...Not too bad. :)

Hi Sierra!

Yes, it was fun! I wish y'all could have been there too. We do need to all get together again sometime...

It looks like you had a fun time shopping!
