It all started last year when I had suggested to my friend Rebecca that she should come up for my birthday. Honestly at that point I didn't think that she would be able to come, but she proved me wrong when her dad called up mine and asked what flight they should set her up on. You can imagine how excited we were when we heard that she would be here for 3 weeks!
So last Monday morning, we piled into our uncle's 15 passenger van and drove to St. Louis to pick up Becca at the airport. After emptying our purses and bags of all the metal we had, we went in, and quickly asked where we should be, and of course, we weren't in the right place. Sooo, taking a bus, we finally found the place where Becca's plane would land. And after waiting around for about 15 minutes, we saw our dear friend arrive and greeted her with smiles, hugs, and excitement.
And since she had never been to the "Arch" before, we decided to show her that, and her personal favorite, the Cardinals Stadium. ;) Being a dedicated Astros fan, she decided to wear her baseball cap while taking the picture of the stadium. :)
Next post coming up: Phoenix Underground! (Fire Poi)
Welcome to Missouri!
Of course before fun, we had to do some school. Elita looks overjoyed, don't 'cha think?
Thanks to Jess, I think I've finally gotten the whole "self-portrait" thing down! ;)
Now Lenna, what have we told you about?...oh, its a pretzel stick.
Terminal Tower, I'd say we're close!!
"Double Dutch Bus going down the street..."
Mom, Dad, and Hannah enjoying the ride.
Awww, now there's a cutie. :)
Elita and Lenna looking impatient...
Now you're probably saying to yourself, "What?! No pictures of the "first time in a long time" reunion between y'all and Becca?! What kind of post is this?!" Yeah. Well, I can't take pictures and hug my friend at the same time, and I didn't want to pose a hug for Dad to take a picture...So hopefully you'll forgive me this one time. :) Oh, and this would be the Arch, with our faithful maroon van in front.
Hannah, Becca, Lenna, and Elita enjoying their lunch. Elita looks a bit too excited.
My sweet little Hannah...
Lenna and Becca leading to the arch!
My two youngest sisters on the stairs leading to the Arch. Hannah looks enthused, wouldn't you say?
Love this one...
Us girls awaiting our turn to get in the tram ride, and yes, this is another one of those self portrait. :)
Need I say more?
That pond looks like something you would find in a Lego set...
Don't know what she's looking at, but it must be good! :)
This, is St. Louis.
630 ft! Definitely wouldn't want to fall off this thing!
Hey look! More Lego items!
Pretty cute bunch wouldn't 'ya say?
Woohoo! Go Cardinals!
Dad with his all-time favorite team! I love it how he's wearing blue... :)
Elita got quite a few stares when doing this pose, but also lots of laughs! :)

I was wandering why it had gotten so quite so quickly.
what fun! Your cheeky picture are soo good! ;)
you got some great shots, Sierra.
*hug*
*sniff* looks like fun:P
Looks like fun! So, did you already have your birthday or???
How fun!! I think you need a little more practice with the self portrait... you cut off half your face on the first one and half of Lenna's face on the other.... not that I mean to damp your happiness as I seem to be in the habit of doing... :-)
*laughs* Robert! You're so mean! ;)
Amanda, My cheeky picture?? You mean the self portraits? lol...thanks!! :)
Savannah, We are having the best of best-est times, cool weather, late night talks, (and yes you're in them), and every fun thing you could possibly imagine! ;) Sorry, couldn't resist. Sometime I'll have you get y'all up here.... *HUGS*
Tara, It was a blast! And no, I haven't had my birthday yet, I'm still trying to decide what I would like to do...*hugs*
Kathryn, Do you enjoy doing that or what? Its like I'm so happy about accomplishing something and then...BAM! ;) The first one is supposed to be like that, and then the second one Rebecca and I were trying to get one by our self and Lenna decided to stick her head in. Sooo, its not my fault. :P
Ooh, I like the chain picture. It's cool for some completely inexplicable reason. And the arch against the sky picture is quite good.
lol!! you guys are always in our "late night talks" too:P Although I do hope Becca isn't telling you all of my secrets!"but what then do we live for, but to make sport for our friends, and laugh at them in our turn. ":P
Raquel, Thanks so much!! Yeah, those two are probably my favorites too. :)
Savannah, Oh don't worry, she has. *evil grin*
:P
Oh no I haven't, I have not even chipped the top of the ice berg you would be shocked if you heard the rest. :D jk No there is nothing so horidly bad that Savannah has told me. Also the nights have not been as late as when Savannah and I are together, but then the mornings are much earlier. Savannah and I don't often get up at 5:00 AM.
Anyway I best get off now, I will probably call again from the Houston airport on my way home so talk to you then Savannah.
Love you,
Rebecca Marie
