Memorial Day '09

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Weekend, I know our family did! Here are about 16 pictures that allot of different people took for me...(thanks to all!) If you would like to see the whole album, you can click here

Anyways, Sunday afternoon our Church was invited to the Price's house for their 2nd annual party/camp-out. The day was filled with food, fellowship, fun and...yes, Frisbee. :) Unfortunately though we didn't get to play a whole lot because of the weather, but what we did get to play was amazing, as always. Though, since I play barefoot, and we were playing on sharp grass, I got a 1-inch splinter in my foot...But thanks to the Ryken's first-aid-kit, I got it out and cleaned up. I think next time I play at their house, I'll wear some actual tennis, no...cleats. :)

Our family planned on staying only for the party and not the night due to our puppies, but thankfully, Josiah and I got to stay over. And I'm so glad we did!! After everyone left, several of the people who were staying over sat near the camp-fire...I won't say what we talked about because it was about 1:30 in the morning, we were very tired, and some of the people there had ALLOT of caffeine...guess who?? ;)

So, without further ado...here are the pictures! Enjoy!

Some very good friends the Hectors decided to join us on our celebration.

Friends gathering for a picture!

Tell me again why Peter is wearing Lenna's shades??? ;)

Aww! Isn't she just a doll?!?!

It was about 65 degrees, bugs everywhere, and Melissa was *still* cold!

These little girls had a blast! And I finally got them to stay still and get a shot!

Some of the many people getting a game of volley-ball going! Which was by the way soo much fun!...even though certain people got slammed by other certain people. ;)

The ultimate ball pumper!

Go Josiah!!

Another cutie from our church...

Ending the night with a beautiful fire...

Are you saying that you have actual memories of what we talked about at 1:30 in the morning? 'Cause I mostly remember there was a fire, and we were all really tired, and at one point there were five marshmallows. Really, I have no idea why it was so much fun... (But it was.) :-)

Ouch! I'm glad you got the splinter out, that sounds painful.
I've had a few of those late nights. :) Good memories.
