One week ago today I left with my grandparents and Carah,(my cousin), to go to Virginia to meet some distant relations and also to do some sightseeing. I had such a blast getting to know Carah better, and also thrilled to find out that my Great Grand-Father and his wife owned a mountain called Candler's Mountain! And also that it was well known to the people in VA!! :) We went first to the Natural Bridge, and then to the Appomattox, where the Civil War was fought, then after meeting many people, we left Tuesday morning.
I had so much fun, but missed *everyone* here in IL., especially on Sunday...Church was so different. Its crazy how you get so used to your home church that when you go somewhere else, it feels different, and you feel awkward. Anyway, on our way home we stopped at the Kentucky Horse Park, which I think was my favorite, we saw many different horses that had won the Kentucky Derby, and also got to see a $300 Million horse, which is named Tynzdale and was the only horse to win this race twice in a row. So it was pretty cool seeing him. :)
I took allot of pictures, but many of them were of nature and things like that. But I did take pictures of the Appomattox and Natural bridge, but don't have much time to upload them. So, if you would like to see more pictures, you can click here. :)
Enjoy! And I hope you all have a wonderful, blessed Easter!! :)
