...And what a wonderful time it was!!! We had an absolute blast while we were there! To read ALL the details you can go to Josiah's blog, which also has a movie that our friend Rebecca recorded, its quite the movie. Very...interesting. :)
For Christmas our family went to South Padre Island where I took as many pictures as I could. :) It was funny to think that we were in wonderful weather, and at the beach on Christmas Day, while everyone back home were freezing and all bundled up. There were people with tang-tops, shorts and even 'Santa Hats'! And one guy looked exactly like "Santa", though of course a little thinner, ( because no one could ever be as big as santa!) :)
While in Texas, we visited our friends that we had not seen in a long time and worshiped with them and their Church Family. After such a long drive, (24hours), it was so good to be in the house of the Lord! On the weekends, us and our friends played about 20 rounds of "Around the World" every night, and then usually stayed up talking and playing other games 'til around 2:30am, you can imagine how tired we all were by the end of our visit, but I was glad to have seen them again. :) I forget what all the scores were, but I'm sure Robert will post them soon, if your interested of course. :) While we were there in Corpus, our whole family plus the Martinez kids went to the North Shore where we played two games of Volley-Ball and also some Frisbee, it was one of the best days down there! The weather was AMAZING!! I could go on and on and on, but of course too much would be boring...So with that, I hope you enjoy these pictures I took. The beginning is of Illinois when we left, and then it gets into the Texas pictures.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas, and may God bless you this year of 2009! :)

Heh. I stayed up until 2:30 playing games over vacation. Uh, actually, it was just one game. But it was really good!
And welcome back to snowy Illinois!
Sierra, we were sad we couldn't be there to say "good bye" on Friday...it sounds like it was a fun time though. Glad you all had a safe trip back. :)
Welcome back to what some people consider cold weather. :) Glad y'all had a good time in Texas.

Mr. Ben-Ezra, Thanks for the welcome, I'm so glad to be home! :) And as for the games, it had to be a long game that you played to keep you up 'til 2:30!
Jill, Thanks for commenting, we actually left my mom's, mom's house in Brownsville on Friday and stayed that night at the Martinez's house, but then left early in the morning on Saturday. Anyway, when are you all coming and visiting?? ;)
Justin, Thanks for the welcome! I'm sooo glad to be back! It seems like ages since I've been at church, I can't wait 'til Sunday! See ya then!
